Duties

- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling.
- Conduct product demos to educate guests about store offerings, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales.
- Upsell complementary products and services to enhance guest satisfaction and increase store revenue.
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products to maintain an appealing shopping environment.
- Handle cashiering duties with precision, including balancing cash drawers and processing returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Provide bilingual support when needed to accommodate diverse customer needs and improve overall service quality.
Skills
- Proficient in POS systems, retail math, and cash register operations with strong cash handling skills.
- Prior supervising experience is a plus; capable of guiding team members and assisting in training new staff.
- Excellent communication skills with phone etiquette to effectively interact with customers both in person and over the phone.
- Knowledge of retail store products, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations enhances guest assistance.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions, inventory management, and sales reporting.
- Experience in retail sales environments with a focus on customer service excellence is highly desirable.
