Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. PAY is based on experience. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and leadership abilities to support our operational excellence. Prior hotel experience is preferred but not a must.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they impact operations.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and improve system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, valves, switches, and electrical wiring.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility upgrades or modifications.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Lead or collaborate with team members during complex repairs or installations to ensure safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and general equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
- Proven service technician experience with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance in industrial or commercial settings.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to facility upgrades or modifications.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective team collaboration and supervision when needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.
