What does a Scheduler Do

As a Scheduler, you will optimize the daily schedule, using good knowledge of the surrounding geography, technician's capabilities, and industry knowledge, coordinating daily service and installation appointments.

Key Responsibilities of a Scheduler

· Schedule and coordinate garage door service, repair, and installation appointments.

· Assign technicians and installers based on location, availability, and job requirements.

· Communicate appointment details and schedule changes with customers and field employees.

· Respond to customer calls and assist with scheduling-related questions.

· Maintain accurate schedules, work orders, and customer information.

· Monitor daily routes and adjust schedules as emergencies or priorities arise.

. Coordinate with sales, service, warehouse, and installation teams as needed.

· Represent Door Systems with professionalism and exceptional customer service

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate for the Scheduling Position Will:

· Possess 3-5 years of previous scheduling or dispatching experience, preferably in the garage door industry. Applicants with experience in the construction, building products, home improvement, or a related industry will be considered.

· Display strong computer skills and comfort using technology

· Demonstrate excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities

· Exhibit outstanding communication and customer service skills

. Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adjusting priorities throughout the day.

· Maintain a positive, courteous, professional, and self-motivated attitude

· Be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

· Display a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving results

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, in-office position (40 hours per week) offering a competitive salary.
