Staff Account (Manufacturing)

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)

We are a growing food manufacturing company focused on building a high-performance business with strong financial discipline, operational excellence, and a culture of accountability. 

We are seeking a highly driven Staff Accountant who can support both financial analysis and core accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute across multiple areas of finance.

This person will play a key role in monthly financial processes, reporting, and operational support while helping improve financial visibility across the company.

• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reporting packages
• Calculate and validate sales commissions accurately and on schedule
• Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Analyze operational and financial results to identify trends and opportunities
• Support inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing-related financial reporting
• Help improve reporting tools, processes, and internal controls
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide timely financial insights
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as the company grows

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role
• Could come from either an accounting or a financial analyst background
• Manufacturing, food industry, or inventory experience is a plus
• Strong Excel skills required
• ERP experience preferred

• A self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be asked

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented but also able to see the bigger business picture
• Someone who enjoys being present with the team, learning quickly, and contributing wherever needed
