Location: Posen, IL
Employment type: Direct hire
Territory: Greater Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (50-mile radius from Posen, IL)
Compensation: $65,000–$80,000 base salary commission
Benefits: Health insurance, car allowance/reimbursement, phone reimbursement

A well-established, family-owned distribution company serving the Chicagoland market for over 40 years is seeking a motivated sales professional to join its growing team. The company distributes a broad range of chemical and facility maintenance products including cleaning supplies, disinfectants, disposables, MRO products, and nationally recognized brands.

Customers include schools, park districts, office buildings, apartment complexes, and manufacturing facilities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and possesses a strong hunter mentality.

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and driven Sales Representative responsible for developing new business and managing existing customer relationships throughout the Greater Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana territory.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys prospecting, cold calling, and building long-term partnerships.

Position Focus
  • 60% New Business Development / Prospecting
  • 30% Account Management & Customer Retention
  • 10% Administrative / CRM Activity

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in the field while utilizing CRM and prospecting tools to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and in-person visits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts
  • Conduct product presentations and recommend solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Manage a sales pipeline and track activity using CRM systems
  • Utilize prospecting tools to identify leads and decision-makers
  • Maintain regular territory coverage within the assigned region
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and account support
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and growth objectives
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of outside sales or B2B sales experience
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proven ability to generate new business
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and territory management
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales prospecting tools preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory
