Quality & CMM Technician

We’re hiring a Quality & CMM Technician to support quality assurance and continuous improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You’ll program and run CMM inspections, lead first-piece approvals, maintain critical quality records, and partner closely with operators and team members to identify issues early and drive corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Program CMM inspections using PC-DMIS and support measurement needs across the value stream
• Perform first-piece/first article approvals and verify customer product requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure inspection plans match design intent
• Use and help maintain measuring instruments and gauges, keeping tools current and ready for use
• Create and update work instructions for new products and process changes
• Train and support operators on identifying quality issues and using gauges/measurement tools correctly
• Implement and maintain inspection practices and ensure quality records are accurate and up to date
• Participate in corrective actions (SCAR) and support procedural improvements aligned to customer requirements

• 5–7 years of quality experience
• Working knowledge of FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, and APQP
• CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS)
• Strong ability to read blueprints/GD&T
• Proficiency with a wide range of measurement instruments and gauges

• Die-casting experience
• Spanish-speaking
