Contract Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
(3 Month Assignment, Potential to Extend)
Location: Glendale Heights, IL
Pay Range: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Contract Recruiter to support a growing food manufacturing organization. This is a high-impact, onsite role with the potential for extension, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles including light industrial, administrative, direct hire, production leadership, and engineering
- Source and engage candidates using platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter
- Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure strong alignment with role requirements and company culture
- Partner with hiring managers to understand needs, provide updates, and drive efficient hiring decisions
- Coordinate interviews, manage scheduling, and support the offer process
- Maintain accurate candidate tracking and documentation in Paylocity and other systems
- Ensure a high level of attention to detail throughout the recruiting and onboarding process
- Deliver a strong candidate experience through clear, professional communication
- Assist the HR team with additional projects and administrative support as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to recruit across multiple job functions (hourly to professional-level roles)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with recruiting tools and ATS platforms (Paylocity experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
