Overview:
As a BIM Specialist, you will lead the development and coordination of electrical models, ensuring seamless integration across project disciplines. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver precise, practical, and compliant electrical designs. Your contributions will directly influence project success, from concept to completion, while helping us uphold the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate electrical design efforts with other MEPFP trades for smooth integration.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Develop detailed electrical drawings, including 2D and 3D components, panels, equipment, and lighting schedules.
• Model electrical systems and create markups to support installation and field operations.
• Provide as-built drawings and detailed models for ICS Pre-Fab, aiding manufacturing and assembly.
• Maintain and update project models and documentation within Forma Cloud (formerly ACC) and other platforms.
• Contribute to project schedules, drawings, and dimensional layouts to ensure on-time delivery.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to drafters, BIM modelers, and team members.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in electrical BIM and design.
• Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to support project coordination and quality assurance.

Must-Have Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in electrical design, particularly within commercial electrical contracting.
• Proficiency with electrical design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit, and Trimble software for Total Station.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and team support.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to model, detail, and coordinate electrical systems effectively.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with project management, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Knowledge of BIM implementation and execution plans.
• Ability to produce sketches, details, and dimensional layouts for field crews.
• Experience with project platforms like Forma Cloud.
