Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
Location: Bartlett, IL
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m
Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, including circuits on 24-480 Volt panels, motors, pumps, and HVAC equipment. Your expertise will help prevent downtime and keep production running seamlessly, supporting our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll also read and interpret technical data, perform preventative maintenance, and respond swiftly to emergencies—all while following strict safety and GMP protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (outlets, switches, wiring, panels)
• Experience maintaining and repairing motors, pumps, and HVAC systems
• Familiarity with PLCs and electronic controls (preferred)
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
• Ability to read technical diagrams and SPC data
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in cold environments
• Effective communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with fire tube boilers and associated HVAC systems
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems
• Previous experience working in the food manufacturing industry

Preferred Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in food processing
• At least 1 year experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, or PLC-controlled equipment

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Ability to work safely in a team environment and adhere to all safety protocols
