CNC Set Up / ProgrammerLocation: Wheeling, ILDirect HireCompensation: 60-75k DOE CNC Set-Up / ProgrammerExperience: 5–7 years machining experience requiredSchedule: 1st Shift and weekends as neededLanguages: English/Spanish a plusJob SummaryThe CNC Set-Up/Programmer is responsible for reviewing customer drawings, programming and setting up CNC machines, and supporting production through continuous improvement, proper documentation, and operator training.Key ResponsibilitiesReview customer drawings and confirm part manufacturability.Program and edit CNC programs using MasterCam (most programs already exist).Maintain and update all CNC program files with engineering or customer changes.Set up new jobs, including fixture and tooling documentation.Perform test runs, adjustments, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and efficiency.Create fixtures and select proper tooling for new jobs.Optimize speeds, feeds, tooling, and fixtures to improve productivity.Train operators on proper CNC machine operation.Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.Identify tooling needs and support basic maintenance of equipment.Use precision measuring tools to hold close tolerances.Maintain a clean, safe work area.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsCNC programming certificate or equivalent experience.Experience with CNC programming software (MasterCam preferred).Strong attention to detail.Experience with Mori Seiki and Brothers CNC machines.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and follow instructions closely.To be considered for this opportunity, please reach out to Trova Advisory Group by sending an email with your resume to Recruiters@GoTrova.com or NCooney@gotrova.com with your resume, the position you are applying for, and a brief introduction.About Trova Advisory GroupTrova Advisory Group specializes in delivering a comprehensive array of staffing solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of businesses across various sectors.
