JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for working the front desk, pool grounds maintenance and upkeep (cleaning, equipment checks, etc.), bathroom upkeep (cleaning, restocking items, etc.), and facilitating pool activities that involve guest participation aside from lifeguards’ primary responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions:
· Train pool attendants on pool procedures, RPOS system, and in-service training.
· Relay vital information between front desk staff, pool manager, pool supervisor, and operation manager.
· Maintain records throughout each session of swim lessons and other aquatic programs.
· Make sure pool water has the required supply of chemical levels for use, maintain daily accurate records of inventory, levels, and understand all MSDS on all chemicals and testing reagents.
· Assist in monitoring weather and conditions and react appropriately to include evacuation of the pool, participants seeking covered shelter, and verifying conditions are safe before allowing swimmers to return to the pool.
· Work at the front desk helping families check in while maintaining excellent communication and guest service skills
· Keep exact records of all sales made for each day through proper inputting, including but not limited to pool day passes and merchandise sold in the cash register.
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the pool area is safe and ready for guests.
· Assists pool attendant staff with opening, daily, and closing pool duties.
· Assist CPO and Pool Manager to organize, set up, tear down, and facilitate pool activities and events for the Water Valley community.

DEPARTMENT: Adventure & Experiences
REPORTS TO (title): Pool Supervisor and CPO/Operations Manager
· Ensure all members' and participants' health and safety by knowing, understanding, and consistently enforcing safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations for the pool and aquatic area.
· Know/review all emergency procedures and respond to emergencies immediately in accordance with JCC policies and procedures. Completes related reports as required.
· Exercise good judgment and communicate concerns to your supervisor.
· Keep pool/check-in areas clean, neat, organized, and appropriately stocked with supplies.
· Let the Pool or Operations manager know if low or in need of supplies.
· Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
· Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of RainDance and Water Valley's safety program.
· Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
· Previous experience in a pool attendant or lifeguard role preferred.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
· Excellent communication and guest service skills.
· Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid may be required.
· Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Expected Pay Range: $17-$18
