Inside Sales Representative - Trotec Laser Plymouth, MI based

Location: Plymouth Michigan Trotec Corporate Office, this is an in office position 5 days a week
Type: Full‑time
Compensation: Base salary commission (performance‑based); this is non-exempt hourly position and eligible for overtime
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results‑oriented Inside Sales Representative to help fuel our growth by generating new business opportunities through proactive outbound engagement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume sales environment and is motivated by clear goals, measurable success, and earning potential.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll play a critical role in building our sales pipeline by qualifying leads, setting appointments, and collaborating closely with our Sales and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Make 50 outbound calls per day to prospective customers
- Identify and qualify leads, including key decision‑makers
- Set appointments and contribute to a healthy sales pipeline
- Effectively handle objections and communicate our value proposition
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in Salesforce CRM
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to improve outreach and conversion
Performance Metrics (KPI's)
This role is measured and commission‑eligible based on:
- Outbound call volume (50 calls daily)
- Qualified leads generated
- Appointments set
- CRM accuracy and compliance
