Position Summary:
The Legal Assistant provides high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals while maintaining strict confidentiality and delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and has experience supporting residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Qualifications:
-5–8 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in a mid-sized or large law firm.
-Experience supporting residential and commercial real estate transactions
-Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and law office procedures.
-Exceptional proofreading, grammar, spelling, and written communication skills.
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
-Experience with legal document management and practice management software is preferred.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
-Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
-Typing proficiency of approximately 80 words per minute is preferred.
