I. Job Description Summary
The Business Development (BD) Rep/Account Manager (the “Rep”) is primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners, promoting the company’s products and services, and achieving individual BD goals through various business development activities, mainly in the Texas and South-West region of the United States.
This position is responsible for managing the full BD process, including contract execution and all necessary tasks to secure new business, working from the Dallas office as well as remotely within the Greater Dallas area.
II. Job Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions
・Develop annual individual BD plans/goals and obtain approval from the Director of BD
・Identify and develop new business opportunities with Japanese and American key customers in the region
・Establish, build, and maintain strong customer relationships to support successful project execution
・Upsell and cross-sell solutions to existing customers to expand business opportunities
・Manage the pre-sales process, including pricing, proposals, and coordination with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain target profitability
・Perform key BD activities such as lead generation, opportunity qualification, scheduling meetings, delivering presentations, understanding customer needs, developing proposals, forecasting, and closing deals
・Learn and enhance demonstration capabilities related to ERP systems and IT infrastructure, including product demonstrations (primarily Dynamics 365 Business Central)
・Provide regular updates and reports on BD activities and maintain accurate data in the CRM system
・Support BD activities across regions as needed, including meetings, documentation, estimates, and proposal preparation
・Collaborate on regional marketing initiatives such as seminars, events, email campaigns, website improvements, and blogs
・Develop innovative value propositions to maximize revenue and business growth
・Participate in required training programs

Minimum Qualifications
・Bachelor’s degree (e.g., business, economics, computer science, or equivalent)
・2 years of business development or sales experience
・Native-level Japanese (spoken and written)
・Business-level English (spoken and written)
・Ability to build and manage a strong sales pipeline
・Strong communication and interpersonal skills
・Ability to understand and document customer needs
・Ability to present solutions, services, and value propositions effectively
・Strong collaboration and internal communication skills
・Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for proposal and presentation development
・Experience with consultative and solution-based sales, including engagement with C-level stakeholders
・Team-oriented mindset with strong accountability
・Ability to conduct effective product presentations and demonstrations

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
