Litigation Attorney – Housing/Landlord-Tenant (Contract Opportunity)
Duration: 6-8 Month Contract
Location: Maryland
Client: Government Agency Housing Program
Openings: 2 Attorneys
TriSource is assisting a government agency in identifying two experienced Litigation Attorneys to support the agency’s Housing Program. Attorneys will represent the agency in prosecuting lease enforcement matters and other landlord-tenant cases in court and/or administrative proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Handle housing and landlord-tenant litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Represent the agency in court hearings and administrative proceedings
- Prosecute lease enforcement actions and related housing cases
- Prepare legal pleadings, motions, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders regarding case strategy and compliance matters
Required Qualifications
- Active member of the Maryland Bar in good standing
- 3–5 years of trial litigation experience, specifically within housing and landlord-tenant law
- Strong courtroom and hearing experience
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
- Immediate availability preferred
