- Serve as an Electrical Equipment Repairer responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, adjusting, and testing a wide variety of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical hand power tools and industrial equipment.
- Must be a journeyman level electrician and have extensive knowledge of the National Electric Code, National Fire Protection Association, Joint Industry Council, and OSHA.
- Plan and design for the layout of electrical components.
- Perform maintenance preventive and corrective diagnoses related to machine tool malfunctions, electric, electronic pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical.
- Perform verification test on electrical and electronic machinery to ensure proper safe operations
- Possess knowledge of electrical components and systems of heavy equipment, electronic theory, and have the ability to interpret instructions, drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Plan and design the layout of facility type wiring.
- use state-of-the-art test equipment to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair rebuild electric/electronic drive systems.
