We’re looking for an experienced Carpet Cleaning and Water Restoration Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality cleaning and restoration services to both residential and commercial clients—without the pressure of sales quotas.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where your attention to detail and technical expertise will be recognized and rewarded.
What You’ll Do
- Perform professional carpet cleaning using truck-mounted and portable equipment
- Complete carpet repairs, including stretching, patching, and seaming
- Respond to water damage calls, including water extraction and equipment setup
- Assess water and microbial damage and apply appropriate restoration techniques
- Ensure all work meets company standards and safety regulations
- Accurately document job details and communicate with team leads/management
- Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for daily use
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every job
No sales required. This is an hourly position—your focus is quality work and customer satisfaction, not upselling.
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year experience in carpet cleaning and/or water restoration preferred
- Experience with truck-mount and portable carpet cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of water restoration processes (IICRC certification preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with OSHA and L&I safety standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability in varied job situations
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 75 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Schedule & Expectations
- Early start times (typically around 6:00 AM)
- Flexible hours—this is not a traditional 9–5 position
- Rotating on-call schedule for after-hours flood response (approximately 1 week per month)
