Samaritan Hospital, located in Troy, NY and a member of St. Peter’s Health Partners, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to cover across multiple service lines including – orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, oncology and intensive care. What you will do: Our exceptional team of Occupational Therapists deliver quality occupational therapy services according to treatment plans for patients Document progress toward identified objectives, provide accurate and timely documentation with online EMR Work collaboratively with the therapy team in a great team environment, and conduct patient and family education. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree Current NYS OT license and registration Minimum 2 years OT experience in acute inpatient hospital setting strongly preferred BLS Certification Flexibility and exceptional clinical reasoning skills are essential as well as an ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and deadlines We are looking for a committed occupational therapist who displays strong skills in flexibility, time management, communication and superb customer service excellence Pay Range: $35.85 - $45.96 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
