Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Purpose Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a reliable and service-oriented Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep of administrative and clinic facilities. This position ensures safe, clean, and well-functioning environments for staff, patients, and visitors while supporting vehicle fleet operations and responding to facility needs, including emergencies. What You Will Do Perform routine building maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep across clinic and administrative sites Support utilities management, cleaning coordination, and facility safety/security needs Provide basic handyman services (minor repairs, equipment fixes, general troubleshooting) Assist with vehicle fleet management, including maintenance, cleaning, and documentation Serve as a courier for interoffice materials and supplies Participate in on-call rotations for alarm response and urgent facility needs Support emergency response efforts and extended service needs when required Assist with community events or health fairs (3–4 times per year, occasional weekends) Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of three (3) years of related maintenance or facilities experience Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Working knowledge of general building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) Strong organizational skills for tracking supplies, maintenance, and vehicle records Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks Position Highlights and Benefits: Day-1 Benefits (PTO accrual, retirement plan and match, health insurance and more!)
