Part-Time Admissions Assessment Coordinator
- Reports to: Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management
- Department: Admissions
- Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
- Early Childhood Assessment Ownership: Own the assessment experience for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st-grade applicants-creating a warm and welcoming environment and administering all individual assessments
- File Evaluation & Decision-Making: Evaluate applicant testing files and collaborate with the admissions committee to inform admission decisions for Pre-K and Kindergarten.
- Family Consultation: Conduct family review meetings to discuss assessment results, addressing parent questions with clarity, warmth, and expertise.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required.
- Relevant Experience: Strong preference for candidates with a background in early childhood education (Preschool, Pre-K, or Kindergarten teaching) or specialized experience in educational testing and assessment.
- Early Childhood Skillset: Patient, warm, and deeply skilled at putting nervous young children at ease during evaluations.
- Organizational & Technical Expertise: Highly organized with strong technical proficiency to handle testing schedules, data, and record-keeping (experience with CRMs or student information systems is a plus).
- Communication & Judgment: Exceptional emotional intelligence and communication skills, with the professional judgment needed to accurately evaluate applicants and guide families through assessment outcomes.
