Description
The McAuley is seeking a per diem (as needed) Receptionist to manage front desk operations and respond to in-house emergencies. Standard shifts are 7-3 (Day), 3-11 (evening), and 11-7 (night).
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold The McAuley’s mission and Mercy Community Health’s values.
- Greet and direct visitors and residents, answering questions and providing information.
- Reserve guest apartments and handle follow-ups.
- Distribute memos, newsletters, and resident mail.
- Manage UPS deliveries and registered mail.
- Respond to emergency alarms and coordinate with security and maintenance.
- Maintain and update reception forms and filing systems.
- Operate the switchboard and monitor security cameras.
- Schedule transportation and manage resident trip sign-ups.
- Handle work orders and key control system.
- Proficiency in English; able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Preferably three months of receptionist experience.
- Familiarity with switchboard, communication systems, and security cameras.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Capable of performing essential job functions with or without accommodation
