Fill Dock Worker – Must-Have Requirements
- Ability to work safely around compressed gas cylinders

- Ability to read and follow work instructions

Fill Dock Worker – Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Fill Dock Worker to support daily cylinder filling operations in an industrial gas production environment. This position is responsible for inspecting, filling, labeling, and preparing compressed gas cylinders for distribution while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and capable of performing physical work in a production setting.
Fill Dock Worker – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect cylinders for damage, proper markings, and serviceability before filling
- Fill compressed gas cylinders according to established procedures and specifications
- Verify cylinder pressures and ensure accurate product labeling
- Load, unload, move, and organize cylinders throughout the facility
- Perform leak checks and basic quality inspections
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records
- Prepare filled cylinders for shipment and customer delivery
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Follow all OSHA, company, and safety regulations regarding compressed gases
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or product discrepancies to supervision
Fill Dock Worker – Additional Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or industrial experience preferred
- Experience handling gas cylinders, welding supplies, or industrial products is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver gas cylinders safely
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions as required
- Must be able to wear required PPE at all times in designated work areas
