• Valid Class A CDL
• Current Hazmat Endorsement required
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen and physical
• Safe driving history and strong commitment to safety
• Ability to load, unload, and secure materials safely
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• High school diploma or GED preferred

CDL-A Driver with Hazmat Endorsement – Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable CDL-A Driver with Hazmat Endorsement to safely transport industrial gases, welding supplies, and related products to customers throughout the region. This position is responsible for timely deliveries, maintaining DOT compliance, handling hazardous materials safely, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, professional, and takes pride in representing the company at customer locations.

CDL-A Driver with Hazmat Endorsement – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations
• Transport compressed gas cylinders, welding supplies, and industrial products
• Perform local and regional deliveries as assigned
• Load, unload, and secure cylinders and materials for transport
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Complete required shipping, delivery, and hazardous material documentation
• Verify delivery quantities and obtain customer signatures
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of hazardous materials
• Maintain accurate driver logs and records
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries
• Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations

CDL-A Driver with Hazmat Endorsement – Additional Qualifications

• Previous hazmat delivery experience preferred
• Experience transporting compressed gas cylinders or industrial products is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently
• Basic computer or handheld device experience for delivery documentation preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift, move, and handle cylinders and materials weighing up to 75 pounds
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver cylinder carts and delivery equipment
• Ability to climb in and out of commercial vehicles throughout the day
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures at customer and company locations
