Salesman / Purchasing Agent (Aerospace Parts)
Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: North Tulsa, OK
Salesman / Purchasing Agent – Must-Have Requirements
- Strong computer skills (data entry, email, spreadsheets, purchasing systems)
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and vendors
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
- Reliable attendance and ability to work standard day shift
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
- Comfortable working with part numbers and inventory data
Salesman / Purchasing Agent – Position Summary
- Support aerospace operations by purchasing, tracking, and selling aviation parts
- Process orders, manage vendor communication, and ensure accurate inventory flow
- Work closely with internal teams to support production and customer needs
- Help maintain accurate records for aerospace components and part tracking
Salesman / Purchasing Agent – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Enter, track, and process purchase orders and sales orders
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers regarding parts and pricing
- Research and verify aviation part numbers and product information
- Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records in computer systems
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure material availability
- Follow up on order status, shipping updates, and delivery timelines
- Assist in resolving order discrepancies or missing parts issues
- Maintain organized digital and paper records
- Support quoting and pricing activities as needed
- Perform additional office and purchasing duties as assigned
Salesman / Purchasing Agent – Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of general aviation or aerospace part numbers is a strong plus
- Experience in purchasing, sales, or inventory control preferred
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn technical part data quickly
- Problem-solving mindset and strong organizational skills
