Job Description
Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters for immediate openings in Catoosa, Oklahoma. This position involves fitting piping and vessels for natural gas compressor systems in a fabrication shop environment.
Candidates must be skilled in fitting pipe sizes ranging from 1½” through 12”, working with schedules from STD through 160, and be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications. Applicants must supply their own pipe fitting tools.
Responsibilities
- Fit and assemble pipe and piping systems according to blueprints and job specifications
- Work with pipe sizes 1½” to 12” and schedules STD–160
- Fit piping and vessels used in natural gas compressor applications
- Measure, cut, align, and secure pipe accurately
- Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and safety compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and shop procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of pipe fitting experience
- Experience working in a fabrication or industrial shop environment
- Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, and technical drawings
- Must have required pipe fitting hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work full-time with occasional overtime
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on feet for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for use of tools and equipment
- Visual acuity to read measurements, blueprints, and inspect work
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, noise, dust, and shop conditions
- Ability to wear required PPE including welding hood, gloves, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
