Patient Service Representative
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay: $15–$18 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary
The Patient Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience. This individual will provide exceptional customer service, manage patient scheduling, process payments, maintain accurate records, and support the daily operations of the office. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to delivering outstanding service.
Essential Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and welcoming manner
- Accurately enter and maintain patient, insurance, and hearing aid information
- Process patient payments and maintain accurate patient ledgers
- Invoice products, services, and hearing aid dispenses
- Assist patients to and from testing rooms as needed
- Fulfill mail-order requests for batteries and other over-the-counter products
- Maintain patient files, including filing, retrieval, archiving, and annual purging
- Support general office operations and administrative functions
- Maintain a clean, welcoming lobby area for patients and visitors
- Uphold HIPAA guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Demonstrate a bright, energetic, and professional attitude at all times
Additional Responsibilities
- Process insurance claims and follow up with insurance providers when necessary
- Prepare and coordinate financing documents and related follow-up
- Assist with additional projects and duties as needed to support office operations and patient care
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous medical office experience required
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems independently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience with insurance verification, claims processing, or healthcare administration is a plus
