Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Patient Care Coordinator – Must-Have Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Prior healthcare or customer service experience preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic typing and data entry skills
- Ability to learn medical software systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Patient Care Coordinator – Position Summary
The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience through professional phone support, scheduling, and front office coordination. This role is highly patient-facing and focuses on delivering excellent customer service while maintaining accurate and timely patient records in a busy clinical environment.
Patient Care Coordinator – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments
- Return voicemail messages in a timely manner
- Accurately enter patient data into medical records
- Transfer calls to appropriate clinical staff when needed
- Communicate urgent patient concerns to providers immediately
- Notify leadership of phone system or workflow issues
- Maintain professional and courteous communication at all times
- Follow all HIPAA and clinic compliance policies
- Maintain clean and organized front office workspace
- Assist with general administrative support as needed
Patient Care Coordinator – Additional Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to remain calm in high-volume or stressful situations
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to support team and clinic operations as needed
