General Job Summary
The Licensing & Title Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Licensing and Title Department. This role assists with vehicle registration processing, title documentation, and coordination with DMV agencies across multiple states. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage compliance-related paperwork with accuracy and efficiency.
This position is temporary and part-time and is best suited for someone who can commit to the full duration of the assignment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with vehicle registration and title processing for fleet vehicles.
- Prepare, organize, and submit documentation for DMV transactions across multiple states.
- Maintain accurate records related to licensing, registrations, and compliance documentation.
- Track due dates, renewals, and required paperwork to ensure vehicles remain legally registered.
- Perform data entry and verify information for accuracy.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding missing or incomplete documentation.
- Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, copying, and document management.
- Support departmental projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Additional coursework or training in administrative or business support preferred
Experience
- 1–2 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage paperwork accurately
- Comfortable working with deadlines and compliance-driven tasks
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- High level of accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Ability to learn processes quickly and follow directions closely
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Reliable attendance and ability to commit to a temporary assignment
