Customer Service Representative Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our inside sales team. This role plays a critical part in sourcing parts, processing orders, and delivering accurate quotes to customers. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to learn systems and industry-specific processes.
Customer Service Representative Key Responsibilities:
- Source and obtain vendor bids to support the sales team
- Enter and maintain supplier and product information in the company system
- Review spreadsheets to identify and verify current in-house inventory
- Process purchase orders, including pricing adjustments and updates as needed
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, quotes, and inquiries
- Learn and become proficient in the company’s internal system Cafam
- Research and locate parts from various manufacturers and suppliers through their web-based sites
- Read and interpret certifications and documentation accurately
- Prepare and deliver quotes to customers in a timely manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide customer support
- Assist with and provide backup support for sales order (SO) building
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
Customer Service Representative Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related role preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data entry
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in aviation, manufacturing, or parts sourcing is a plus but not required
