Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift)
Pay: $23–$30/hour DOE
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (Training on 1st Shift Required)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Jenks, OK
Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift) – Must-Have Requirements
- Proven CNC machining experience (mills and lathes required)
- Ability to set up and run CNC machines independently
- Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work 2nd shift with minimal supervision
- Willingness to train on 1st shift before transitioning
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift) – Position Summary
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines (Mazak preferred)
- Produce precision parts to tight tolerances in a production environment
- Work independently to maintain quality, efficiency, and production flow
- Support a fast-paced machining operation with complex parts
Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift) – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Select tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds for production jobs
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision tools
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain machine performance through basic preventive maintenance
- Monitor part quality and ensure compliance with specifications
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Document production and quality checks as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift) – Additional Qualifications
- Mazak, Haas, or multi-axis machining experience strongly preferred
- 5-axis or complex setup experience is a plus
- Aerospace or tight-tolerance manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Experience with high-mix / low-volume production environments
- Ability to improve efficiency and reduce cycle time preferred
