Job Title: Class A CDL Driver & Equipment Operator
?? Location: Claremore, OK
Pay: $24 – $27/hour
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt
Class A CDL Driver & Equipment Operator – Must-Have Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- No violations or accidents within the last 3 years
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable CDL driving and equipment operation experience
- Experience operating mini excavators, skid steers, trenchers, and trailers
- Ability to read a tape measure and use a leveling laser
- Ability to comply with DOT regulations and drug testing requirements
- Reliable transportation and personal cell phone
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Class A CDL Driver & Equipment Operator – Position Summary
- Safely transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
- Operate excavation and construction equipment for underground projects
- Support jobsite operations through grading, trenching, and site prep work
- Maintain professional communication with customers, dispatch, and team members
- Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and job sites meet safety standards
Class A CDL Driver & Equipment Operator – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Driving & Transportation
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
- Transport heavy equipment, materials, and supplies to job sites
- Perform proper load securement and trailer hookup procedures
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues
Equipment Operation
- Operate mini excavators, skid steers, trenchers, and hauling equipment
- Perform trenching, grading, backfilling, and site preparation
- Use leveling lasers for elevation and grading accuracy
- Read jobsite layouts and measurements accurately
Jobsite Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Follow excavation and underground work procedures
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Adapt to changing jobsite conditions and solve problems efficiently
- Fuel, clean, and restock vehicles and equipment as needed
Class A CDL Driver & Equipment Operator – Additional Qualifications
- Strong understanding of CDL laws and DOT compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Willingness to be on-call when needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working long hours outdoors in varying conditions
