Accounting Manager
Direct Hire Position
Mon-Fri 8-4:30pm
Team Responsibilities & Leadership:
- Will supervise a team of 10–15 accounting staff.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills are required.
- Must be able to mentor and guide team members effectively.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- the job description lists 5 years of healthcare accounting experience, candidates with less than 5 years are considered if they have some exposure to healthcare finance.
Skills & Competencies:
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong reconciliation experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team leaders and other departments.

Duties
Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the financial accounting functions of an accounting department by supervising the day-to-day activities of the financial accounting staff. This role is responsible for the oversight of cash management, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger, and budget functions, as assigned and observed and adhered to generally accepted accounting principles and ensures accurate reporting of accounting data and its analysis.
