The Trinity County Office of Education is seeking paraeducator substitutes to assist in a variety of roles across our school districts. Paraeducator substitute roles could include: • Classroom Support • Office Support • Recess Supervision • Cafeteria Assistance • Maintenance & Facilities Trinity County serves approximately 1,500 students across ten school districts. Schools range from small, single-school districts with around 10 students to the largest unified district with approximately 700 students. Many schools in the county are recognized as California Distinguished Schools, offering small class sizes, strong academic programs, and supportive learning environments.

Completed Edjoin online application Current Valid Identification Successful Completion of Background Check To become a Classroom Paraeducator Substitute, you must meet one of the following requirements: • Pass the Paraeducator Exam (administered at the Trinity County Office of Education), or • Provide official transcripts verifying completion of 48 semester units from an accredited college or university, or • Hold an Associate’s (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution.
