Title: IT Enterprise AI & Applications Architect
Location: San Jose, CA Hybrid
Duration: 6 Months
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Enterprise AI & Applications
Architect to lead the modernization of our digital ecosystem. You will be the
bridge between emerging technology and business value, responsible for defining
the blueprint of our enterprise applications stack. Your focus will span from
implementing cutting-edge Generative AI tools to securing our workforce through
Zero Trust and MDM frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
·AI Strategy & Governance: Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Enterprise Generative AI tools. Establish guardrails for AI usage to ensure both innovation and data privacy.
·Application Architecture: Design and maintain the architectural roadmap for enterprise-wide applications (Cloud, Jamf, Intune, ServiceNow, Workday, Salesforce etc,.), ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and integrated. Help teams during project intake with right architecture and designs.
·Security Initiatives: Architect and oversee critical security deployments, including Mobile Device Management (MDM), Privilege Access Management (PAM) and Zero Trust (ZTNA).
·Application Rationalization: Continuously audit the software portfolio to eliminate redundancies, reduce technical debt, and optimize licensing costs.
·Automation & Integration: Design complex workflows and integration patterns using tools like Boomi or Workato to streamline cross-departmental operations.
·Technical Leadership: Partner closely with engineering and IT teams to define standards, provide architectural oversight, and mentor technical staff.
Required Experience & Skills
·Total Experience: 10 years in IT, with 5 years in a formal Enterprise Architecture role overseeing large-scale SaaS/Cloud environments.
·AI Specialization: 2 years of experience with GenAI implementation, including AI agent platforms and conversational AI workflows.
·Enterprise Architecture: Strong background in designing multi-tier application environments and cloud-native solutions.
·Security Expertise: Deep understanding of modern security frameworks, specifically, Zero Trust principles and endpoint management.
·Integration Platforms: Proficiency in iPaaS tools (Workato, Boomi, or similar) and workflow automation design.
·Analytical Decision-Making: Experience performing "Buy vs. Build" analyses and conducting formal software vendor evaluations.
·Collaboration: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Education & Certifications
·Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related technical field.
·(Preferred) Industry Certifications such as:
o Architecture: TOGAF 9.x, Salesforce Certified Architecture, or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.
o Security: CISSP or CISM.
