We are seeking an IT Consultant - Application Security & Vulnerability Management to join our team. This role will involve onboarding as a developer to help remediate a backlog of security vulnerabilities on an internet-facing IAM platform across Java, .NET, Angular, and React technology stacks. The ideal candidate will have experience in vulnerability management, code review, Java development, and testing, along with a passion for cybersecurity and application safety.

Job Title: IT Consultant | Application Security | Vulnerability Management

Location: Richardson, TX / New York, NY / Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

Onboard as a developer to help remediate a backlog of security vulnerabilities on an internet-facing IAM platform.
Work across the technology stack comprising Java, .NET, Angular, and React.
Review security findings and understand reported vulnerabilities thoroughly.
Run required tests to confirm whether each reported finding is a genuine vulnerability.
Create and implement necessary code changes to remediate confirmed vulnerabilities.
Minimize code changes by grouping vulnerabilities that can be addressed through the same remediation effort.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

8 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Must come from a strong security background.
Proven ability to read, understand, and interpret security vulnerability findings effectively.
Strong proficiency in Vulnerability Management, Java, and hands-on code development/testing.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
