As we continue to grow our environmental practice across Connecticut, we’re looking for a Senior Environmental Professional | Assistant Project Manager to join our talented Environmental team in Connecticut.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced environmental professional who is ready to take the next step into project leadership while continuing to build strong technical expertise. You’ll work alongside seasoned project managers, support complex environmental projects, mentor junior staff, and help deliver solutions for a wide range of public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project managers and provide technical leadership on a variety of environmental projects including:
    •  Site investigations
    •  Environmental remediation
    •  Brownfield redevelopment
    •  Environmental permitting and compliance
  •  Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and oversight of field staff and subcontractors
  •  Prepare high-quality technical reports, regulatory documentation, and client deliverables in accordance with Connecticut environmental regulations and company standards
  •  Collaborate with clients, regulators, and internal teams to support successful project outcomes
  •  Contribute to proposal development, client engagement, and broader business development efforts
  •  Mentor and guide early-career technical staff while helping build team capabilities and project delivery efficiency
  •  Support growing project workloads for a diverse client base including utility, industrial, commercial, and development clients

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related field
  • 6+ years of environmental consulting or related experience
  • Strong understanding of Connecticut environmental regulations and remediation programs
  • Ability and desire to obtain Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) certification within 2–3 years
  • Experience supporting or managing environmental investigation and remediation projects
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Desire to grow into project management, client management, and leadership responsibilities
  • Remediation design experience is a plus

This is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds—collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week. We're committed to supporting work-life balance while maintaining strong team connection and project delivery.
