This role is built for someone early in their structural engineering career who wants to expand their technical range, get exposure to a variety of building projects, and learn directly from seasoned professionals rather than figuring it out alone.
And we're backing that growth with more than mentorship alone: this role comes with a guaranteed seat in Blueprint, our new early career leadership program. Over six months, you'll build professional development, business acumen, and project delivery skills through real case studies, simulations, and role-play - not passive lectures - culminating in an in-person capstone event where you'll present your work and map out your goals for the year ahead. What You'll Do
- Design building-related structures across project types, including new construction, renovations, and repair projects
- Perform structural condition assessments of existing buildings
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with internal engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Coordinate with external project partners and stakeholders as needed
- Support senior engineers and contribute to team-based project delivery
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering
- 1-5 years of relevant structural engineering experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification strongly preferred
- Fundamental working knowledge of REVIT
- Experience with structural analysis and design software such as RISA, Tekla, and EnerCalc is a plus
- Working knowledge of building codes and nationally adopted design standards
