Trillium Construction is hiring for a Steel Erection Project Manager to oversee the erection of steel at a data center site in Lebanon, IN!
This is a full-time, long-term, direct hire position, and the project is expected to last for 2 years. The project sits on 1500 acres, $10 billion over 10 different buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and cost control
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify scope requirements and potential issues
- Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field supervision to ensure successful project execution
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and change orders
- Communicate project expectations, goals, and updates with onsite superintendents and project teams
- Monitor subcontractor performance, safety compliance, quality standards, and schedule milestones
- Manage material, labor, and equipment procurement to support project timelines
- Conduct project meetings, track progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Review invoices, approve payments, and assist with project financial reporting
- Support punch list completion, final inspections, and project closeout activities
Compensation:
- Annual salary between $165,000 - $202,000

Qualifications:
- Must have structural steel experience with a general contractor
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- 5 years of construction project management experience
- Experience managing PEMB, structural steel, industrial, or data center construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, contracts, and regulations
- Experience with subcontractor management, budgeting, estimating, and change orders
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Project, and construction management software (SAGE 300 experience a plus)
- Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company requirements
