POSITION: Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist
POSITION NO: 012524
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for evaluating and providing professional services to patients in the hospital for inpatient, observation, and swing bed levels of care. Formulates a problem list and develops/implements with the patient a plan of care to promote, maintain and restore health. Coordinate with nursing and other clinical staff in the provision of care to patients in the hospital. Address patient problems that may arise during hospital stay. Participate in committees such as Patient Care, Med Staff, and Quality and others plus other duties including growing clinics and new services.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current active NP license in Kentucky. Graduate of accredited school of Nursing with a degree as Nurse Practitioner. BLS and ACLS required upon hire. At least three-years of experience is required in clinic or hospital setting.
REPORTS TO: Chief Medical Officer and CEO
