CNA PART-TIME NIGHT POSITION
POSITION: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Med/Surg
JOB SUMMARY: Performs designated tasks for patients designated by the RN in charge of patient care. Tasks may include feeding, bathing, oral care, positioning, ambulating and transporting. May perform basic monitoring, to include temperature, pulse, respiration, B/P, and I&O. Attends to patient’s comfort and keeps nurse in charge of patient care informed of patient’s needs and/or changes in condition. Tasks are performed in accordance to hospital and nursing policies and procedures as well as legal compliance policies.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent.
Kentucky CNA certification and BLS required.
REPORTS TO: Chief Nursing Officer
