APRN Cardiology PRN
JOB SUMMARY: This role encompasses patient evaluations relating to cardiovascular symptoms or known cardiovascular illnesses, including congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and atrial fibrillation. You will use your expertise to assist with educating and supporting patients and their families, choosing appropriate diagnostic testing, and establishing interventions and treatment plans using evidence-based medicine.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current active NP license in Kentucky. Graduate of accredited school of Nursing with a degree as Nurse Practitioner. Experience with Cardiac Stress Tests, Holter Monitors, Treadmill Tests and Cardiology Clinic. BLS and ACLS required upon hire. At least two-years of experience is required in clinic or hospital setting in Cardiology.
