Trident Consulting is currently seeking a ”SingleStore Migration Specialist" for one of our industry leading clients in "Sunnyvale, CA". A global leader in business and technology services.
Role: SingleStore Specialist (Vertica to SingleStore Migration)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA(Onsite)
Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end migration from Vertica to SingleStore
- Define migration strategy, architecture, and execution roadmap
- Design scalable data models (rowstore, columnstore, reference tables)
- Optimize performance through query tuning and efficient data distribution
- Implement sharding and distribution strategies for large-scale systems
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SingleStore
- Expertise in data modeling (rowstore, columnstore, reference tables)
- Expertise in sharding and distributed architecture
- Expertise in SQL performance tuning and query optimization
- Experience migrating from Vertica or other MPP data warehouses
- Advanced SQL and database design for analytical workloads
- Experience with Apache Spark (Scala/Python) for large-scale data processing
