Location: Round Rock, Texas
Pay Rate: $22/hr - $25/hour on w2
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract (Temporary)
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Logistics Data Entry Specialist to support inventory operations. This role is responsible for accurately receiving materials, entering and locating data in the inventory management system, and handling chemical materials in compliance with safety guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work comfortably in an environment involving chemical materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and match packing slips with purchase orders
- Accurately enter material data into the inventory management system
- Tag and identify materials; complete and file all required documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and material locations
- Retrieve and provide inventory data as requested by team members or supervisors
- Handle chemical materials safely in accordance with Health & Safety policies
- Assist in segregation and handling of expired or non-conforming materials
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely updates
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure supplies are stocked
- Perform additional data entry and inventory support tasks as needed
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Prior experience in data entry, inventory, or material handling (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, chemical-handling environment (training provided)
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Warehouse or inventory-based work environment
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending
- Handling chemical materials with provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
