Job Overview
- We are looking for a hands-on Technician III to join a Filtration R&D Applications team.
- This person will perform laboratory experiments and filtration testing to support the development of new filtration products and technologies.
- You will work closely with engineers and scientists, follow experimental protocols, document results in an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), troubleshoot experiments, and help analyze and organize experimental data.
What You’ll Do
- Perform laboratory experiments and filtration applications testing.
- Support R&D projects involving new filtration products and technologies.
- Prepare solutions and samples using detailed recipes and protocols.
- Operate laboratory equipment and perform routine testing.
- Record experimental activities and results in an ELN/lab notebook.
- Troubleshoot experimental issues and complete work within deadlines.
- Assist with preliminary data analysis and organize experimental results.
- Provide feedback on experimental plans.
- Help develop test protocols and technical reports when needed.
- Follow all EHS, laboratory safety, and equipment safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR
- High school diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Hands-on laboratory experience.
- Experience following laboratory protocols and preparing solutions.
- Strong documentation and lab notebook skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot experiments and work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers and scientists.

- Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
- Normal Flow Filtration (NFF)
- Adsorptive media
- Biopharmaceutical separations
- Filtration product testing
- Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN)
- Experimental protocol development
- Basic data analysis
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- EHS/laboratory safety
Ideal Candidate
- The ideal candidate is a Laboratory Technician, R&D Technician, Research Associate, Bioprocess Technician, or Applications Technician with hands-on laboratory experience and exposure to filtration/separation technologies.
- Candidates who have worked with TFF, NFF, ELN, solution preparation, experimental troubleshooting, and biopharmaceutical R&D are especially relevant.
