Position: Engineering Technical Specialist - Chemical/Mechanical
Location: Miamisburg, OH 45342
Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week
Duration: 12–18 Months
Pay Rate: $36–$41/hr. on W2
Position Summary
- The Engineering Technical Specialist will provide hands-on technical expertise supporting the Carbon Monoxide distillation process, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires a strong engineering background with mechanical and/or chemical experience and practical technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the Carbon Monoxide distillation process, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of distillation equipment, including reactors, condensers, and separation units.
- Implement and manage calibration, preventive maintenance, and asset management programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize process efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, cGMP, and safety standards.
- Document procedures, maintenance activities, and compliance records accurately.
- Provide training and technical support to junior staff and maintenance personnel.
Required Skills
- Strong engineering background.
- Mechanical and/or Chemical Engineering experience.
- Hands-on technical and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with distillation processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, calibration, and asset management.
- Knowledge of ISO, cGMP, and safety standards.
