Rate: $70-$75/hr on W2
Job Summary
- 15 years of experience in IBM i (AS400) application development with strong expertise in COBOL, RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2/400, Query/400, and SQL.
- Extensive experience leading AS400 technical teams, providing solution design, effort estimation, code reviews, and mentoring developers.
- Strong background in Legacy Modernization, Reverse Engineering, and Business Rules Extraction (BRE) for enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with AS400 ILE concepts, database design, performance tuning, and development of mission-critical business applications.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills with proven ability to gather requirements, prepare STTM documentation, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
