Sr. Identity & Access Management Engineer

Summary

Our client is seeking a Sr. Identity & Access Management Engineer to define the company-wide identity management strategy. This role will focus on implementing robust IAM platforms and controls while ensuring that operations teams are well-informed about appropriate processes. This position will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and provide guidance on best practices for identity and access management.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop an overall identity management strategy for the organization, aligning with business goals and regulatory Requirements
• Design and implement identity and access management platforms to support the company's identity strategy.
• Establish and enforce identity management controls to secure sensitive information and maintain compliance.
• Provide training and support to operations teams on IAM processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to address identity-related incidents and resolve issues promptly.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in identity and access management or related field.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing IAM platforms and solutions in large organizations.
• Experience with IAM technologies including Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, and OAuth.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
  
  

Preferred

• Relevant certifications including CISSP or CIAM.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
• Proficiency in IAM tools and technologies with hands-on experience configuring and managing IAM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

This is a 6-Month Contract-to-Hire opportunity with our Overland Park, KS client in Overland Park, KS or Cary, NC.
