Front-End Developer

Summary

Our client is seeking a Front-End Developer to implement user interface designs and build scalable front-end solutions. This role will partner with UX designers, product owners, and developers to translate design concepts into high-quality React.js components while contributing to a shared component library and applying front-end best practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement user interface designs ensuring intended interactions, layout, and behavior are accurately reflected.
• Build and maintain reusable React.js components that support consistency across applications.
• Contribute to the development of a shared component library to accelerate development and promote a unified user experience.
• Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces meeting modern usability standards.
• Collaborate with developers and Scrum masters within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver features effectively.
• Provide input on design feasibility, technical constraints, and implementation trade-offs.
  
  

Requirements

• 3 years of front-end development experience with React.
• Demonstrated experience implementing UI designs from wireframes, mockups, or prototypes into production-ready code.
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, and usability best practices.
• Experience building reusable components and contributing to component-based architecture.
• Experience collaborating with UX designers, product owners, and developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  
  

This is a 6-Month Contract opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
