Role Overview
We are seeking a Front-End Developer to contribute to a significant modernization effort. This role will be instrumental in building out a new UX plan and a reusable component library from the ground up. The ideal candidate will work closely with a UX designer to translate design concepts into high-quality, scalable front-end solutions and help establish best practices for future development.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement user interface designs provided by the UX designer, ensuring intended interactions and layout are accurately reflected.
- Partner with the UX designer, product owners, and other developers to translate design concepts into front-end solutions.
- Build and maintain reusable React components that support consistency across applications.
- Contribute to the development of a shared component library to accelerate development.
- Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces that meet modern usability standards.
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to ensure features are delivered effectively.
- Provide input on design feasibility, technical constraints, and implementation trade-offs.
- Support iterative design and development by refining implementations based on feedback and testing.
- Assist in establishing and applying front-end development standards and best practices.
- 3 years of front-end development experience with React.
- Previous experience working directly with a designer to implement user interface designs from wireframes or mockups into production-ready code.
- Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
- Experience building reusable components and contributing to a component-based architecture.
- Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, and usability best practices.
- Experience collaborating with UX designers, product owners, and developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple applications and priorities.
- Candidates must reside within 100 miles of Kansas City.
