SQA Analyst

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute comprehensive software quality assurance strategies.
• Develop test scenarios/user acceptance criteria by first understanding business drivers, then analyzing requirements specifications and user stories.
• Develop, review, and execute test plans and test scripts, and prepare test data to ensure application products and services meet business needs, quality standards, and end-user/non-functional requirements (i.e., environments and user interfaces).
• Document, track, and resolve software defects or issues in collaboration with the Product Delivery Team.
• Ensure quality is built into the software solution throughout the software development lifecycle by performing peer reviews and leveraging relevant quality assurance processes and technologies.
  
  

Requirements

• 6 years of software quality assurance and testing experience.
• Our client has a strong preference for candidates with testing skills and experience in Agile, Cloud-based delivery, in close alignment with an application development team.
• SQA/Testing experience involving .NET, Java, and JavaScript technologies.
• Experience providing manual and automated testing services to ensure the quality of strategic and high-priority applications.
• Solid understanding of test automation best practices and the ability to architect, develop, and debug medium to complex automation scripts.
• Solid understanding of the software development process.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience working with a low-code, no-code development platform (e.g., Appian, ACCELQ).
